CASPA’s Got Talent A Huge Success!
Hello all from CASPA.
It’s time for the monthly CASPA news that highlights and celebrates all of the achievements of our members, clubs, activities and the dedicated team of staff and volunteers that makes it all possible.
On this news post we would like to give a huge round of applause to everyone that took part in CASPA’s Got Talent 2025. The talent show is a celebration of all CASPA members and their talents with members of all ages encouraged to join in. This year the age range of performers was as young as 8 years old, all the way to 36 years old.
Everyone who got up on stage achieved their own personal successes as some members that took part have difficulty with speech, performing in front of crowds and general nerves. We were so proud to watch these members overcome these barriers and perform brilliantly, beautifully and in some instances even comically.
These nerves were put aside for a whole variety of performances, including comedy, singing, drama performances, dancing, playing guitar (self-taught), doing karate or just enjoying talking into the microphone.
Miranda Webberley from CASPA who organised the event said: “It really was a beautiful event and feedback from parents and young people was just great!”
Many parents who were in the audience weren’t used to seeing such confidence from their own kids and were so proud to see them performing whilst thoroughly enjoying the entire show.
Some parents had this to say:
“I just wanted to say a big thank you for such a wonderful event we had a great time, we’re looking forward to next year already!”
“Such a beautiful thing to be part of.”
“I’m so proud of him! So joyful to see them all do their thing.”
“Thanks for everything you do as he is thriving since joining the CASPA drama group!”
Lastly CASPA would like to give a big thank you to all staff and volunteers who gave up their time to support members, watch the show and judge the performances. We’d also like to thank the staff at Oakley House in Bromley for hosting the event and a huge thank you to Simon, Larissa and Issy from Bromley Little Theatre who helped with all the sound and lights.
Most of all CASPA would like to give a massive thank you to all our amazing members who got up on the stage and shared their talents with everyone!
Well Done Guys!
