We are so proud of Lucy King - Youth in Action Award Winner
We were delighted to go to the Youth in Action Awards in Brighton, as our amazing Lucy King was nominated for two awards which is just incredible!
She walked away with the Charity of the Year Award for all her dedication and hard work including with us at CASPA.
Kids on the Moon session at The Glades
We are delighted to be working with The Glades, Bromley and have an opportunity to have an ASD only session on Tuesday 8th August for 'Kids on the moon'.
Two slots will be available 10-11 and 11-12 noon.
The activity is spit into 4 main areas:
- Registration and getting dressed into Space suits (no helmet)
- The Lunar Area - In this section the group will get the chance to wear a space helmet and feel what it’s like to walk on the moon. Amazing! This is a near dark enviro pod ( the walking on the moon is actually on sponge)
- The Cultural Area - Do you know who the first man on the moon was? Of course you do! Here they will get to learn more about Neil Armstrong and the first ever moon landing through a photographic exhibition and a replica of his space suit.
- The Earth Area - Have you ever wondered how robots see the universe? Here’s your chance to find out - you’ll get to wear special robot glasses while you learn all about what robots can see in space. – These are plastic safety goggles.
We are actively encouraging parent / careers and guardians to stay with the kids for the tour (except the bits in the near dark enviro pod).
If you would like a slot for your child and parent / care siblings also welcome please email email@example.com
