CASPA Evolution

After 18 months of planning, fundraising, and preparation, we are so proud to announce the official opening of two brand-new clubs for autistic children and young people at CASPA!

With the amazing support of our community, we raised £65,000, secured a venue, and recruited a brilliant new team. Tonight, we were honoured to be joined by the Mayor of Bromley for a very special ribbon-cutting celebration — and to thank every donor, fundraiser, and champion who made this possible.

We welcomed 15 amazing juniors, and the room was filled with excitement, laughter, and lots of exploring. The Bubble Lab, kinetic sand, and magnetic blocks were a big hit, with everyone diving in and having fun together.

These aren’t just clubs — they’re safe, inclusive spaces where autistic young people can build life skills, make friends, and most importantly, have fun.

One Moment that really stood out for us:

At the start of the session, one little boy found it all too overwhelming. He stayed in the corner with his mum, upset and unsure if he could join in. But slowly, with patience and encouragement, he found his confidence. By the end, he was not only playing independently with other boys but even told his mum she could sit inside — he didn’t need her by his side anymore.

The best part? He had such a wonderful time that he cried when it was time to leave. His mum was over the moon seeing her child feel safe, supported, and included.

This is what CASPA is all about — creating spaces where autistic children can thrive, build friendships, and feel truly at home.

A huge thank you to our funders, supporters, and community champions — this milestone belongs to you too.
