Parent/Carer curry night was a huge success!

Hello all from CASPA!

CASPA has hosted its first evening activity and curry night for its parents/carers group. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone that attended and shows just how important the wider CASPA community is.

One of the main focuses of CASPA is to provide clubs, activities and overall support to all of our members. The majority of our members are young people or those that require ongoing support from parents and carers.

Because of this CASPA recognises that our work isn’t just about supporting our members. Our work is also about supporting their families as well. This is especially true for parents and carers that have additional care responsibilities for those they are supporting.

We recognise that this care is out of love and we believe that deserves some love in return. This is exactly what the parents/carers community hopes to achieve. We are so pleased that the recent curry night provided such a sociable and welcoming atmosphere for everyone there.

“That evening was exactly what I needed. We shared laughs, stories, and struggles, knowing there was no judgment—just understanding and solidarity. CASPA doesn’t just meet the needs of autistic individuals; it uplifts entire families. This meet-up felt like a reminder of how important it is to have a space for ourselves, away from the daily noise, to connect and share openly.”
